Open House Postponed

As noted on the Temple calendar, we had planned to have an open house event tomorrow (Sunday, December 15th) to celebrate the official opening of the Temple’s new Grandview home. For a number of reasons, that event is postponed until Springtime:

First, and most importantly, the process of obtaining the necessary occupancy permit from the town of Salem has taken longer than expected (bureaucracy…go figure). Since we scrupulously observe the legal requirements and regulations for a religious institution, that means no public events at Grandview until we have that permit in-hand. We have just a few minor adjustments and inspections to get there, but they won’t happen until after the planned date.

Things happen for a reason, however, and as this weekend is also supposed to feature the first major winter storm of the season, it’s probably best that our plans have changed, as we also want everyone who does not need to be out on the roads or traveling at this time to remain safe and sound indoors!

We look forward to updating the community on our progress and welcoming you into the Temple’s new home, either at our classes and rituals over the winter (once we’ve obtained our occupancy permit) or at an open house event in the renewal of springtime, and we hope to see many of you at our Yule ritual and our wonderful Crystal Healing Bowl Concert next weekend, at the Upper Village Hall in Derry, NH!

Yuletide blessings of the season to all!
