Temple Astrolog: Here we go again!

If you are tired of digging in the past, working through old relationship drama and facing the shadow side of yourself, I’ve got bad news for you, because here we go again! But it is not as bad as it might first seem. If you are doing a big clearing in your life, why not do it properly, right?

We’ve got Jupiter (expansion) at 29 degrees in Sagittarius, close to the asteroid Ceres (nurturing), Venus (relationships), and the south node (past, karma) all in the sign of Capricorn. They make a challenging square to the asteroid Juno (relationships) in Libra. No matter who we are, now is the time to take a deep look at the past, release what is not good, and steer towards a brighter future.

Beginnings and Endings

Juno is about relationships, but it is also about beginnings and endings. If you look at your life, you will probably see that many of your big life changes are related to people in some way. Meeting them, and perhaps also leaving a person, place, or situation. We may not always see it when we are right in the middle of it, but after some time passes, we can see the impact of the event. Then looking from a deeper or higher perspective, the person or relationship also becomes something else, like a gatekeeper opening or closing a chapter in life.

Seen through this perspective you, too, may work as a gatekeeper for others. Meeting you has the capacity to open doors, change lives, and make a difference in some way. Leaving you, or not staying so close anymore, may also take on a new meaning.

If we embrace this way of thinking then every meeting and relationship becomes important. For the time being, we share the road of life with fellow travelers. We assist each other in opening and closing the different gates of life. We do not know how long we will be together in this particular reality, and that makes both life and people precious.

Right now Juno in Libra with these aspects is challenging us to look at the gates lie before us: Is there something that you need to let go of right now? Why is it important? Why do you need to make that change?

In the square to the south node in Capricorn (past time) there are also important questions like: What doors in the past have you needed to close? Why did you need to do the change then? And finally, can you see a connection between these two? Is there a theme repeating itself right now?

Juno will continue to work on our deep connections and relationships for a while, because as she moves forward she will meet up with none other than Pluto (the underworld and transformation).

Difficulties to recharge and a hard time for romance

With Venus and Ceres together in Capricorn it is difficult to recharge your energy. Everyone is a bit low and many are hungry for energy on all levels. In times like this, my best advice is to keep up doing your regular exercises and meditations. Specially on those days when you want to skip it. That is probably the day when you need it the most.

Romance is not easy with this combination, either. It always seems to come between something. The laundry, work, kids, and the also the feeling of not being in the mood. The same advice applies here, don’t miss out on date nights, even if it means eating quietly together just trying to catch your breath. It is always challenging when it feels like there is not enough energy going round. But being together in the mist of it all, makes it possible for your hearts and energies to reconnect.

Ceres and Venus will leave each other’s company around the 10th of December.

Great ideas

Right now the Sun (illumination) is passing right next to the asteroid Pallas Athena in the sign of Sagittarius. This means great ideas can come as quickly as Zeus’s (Jupiter, ruling the sign of Sagittarius) lightning bolts! So keep your notebook close to you at all times and be ready for higher and sudden inspirations. You need to stay alert and ready, as all who want to catch a light from heaven have to do.

This transit ends around December 15th.

Blessings!
