Mabon is the celebration of the Autumnal Equinox. It is also the second of our harvest celebrations. Like the Spring Equinox, this is the day when day and night are equal in length. At this time of the year, the days will be shorter and shorter until we reach Yule, the longest night of the year. It is a time to be thankful, and many say this is the “Witches’ Thanksgiving”.
This download consists of a 5-page ritual outline, 1-page guide to making a hand-decorated table- or altar-cloth, 1-page recipe for gluten-free pumpkin muffins, and 4 coloring and activity pages on the Welsh goddess Modron, mother of Mabon. All proceeds support the Temple of Witchcraft’s ongoing work.
