Exploring Mature Masculinity
What do the terms man, male, and masculinity mean in our lives today? We have seen our world transform significantly and many would say it has changed for the better, but there is still work for us to do. We have faced the perils of patriarchal governments and religions and have found them wanting. So, where does that leave those of us who identify as men? How can we proudly wear these identifiers given all that has occurred in their name? Specifically, how can we, the Witches, reclaim the words man, male, and masculine as we have done so effectively with the title witch? How can a clear understanding of healthy masculinity improve our relationships with ourselves, with our divinities, and with the people in our lives? Once we better understand what mature masculinity can be, what will this teach us about the relationship between the concepts of masculinity and femininity. What if we challenge our long-held understandings of this as a binary, either-or relationship between the two, and shift our view of reality as a constantly moving interplay across this spectrum.
In this series of classes, we will attack this head on. We will explore four archetypes of mature masculinity. We will delve the concepts of the Sovereign, the Warrior, the Magician, and the Lover as four elements that, when combined in due measure, produce men of great value. Men who can effectively serve the world. Men who can effectively serve the Temple of Witchcraft.

Instructor JT Mouradian is a proud graduate of the Temple’s Mystery School and has been exploring the mysteries his whole life. For a number of years, he has focused on what treasures mature male mysteries hold for our world as part of the Temple’s Capricorn Ministry. JT has lived a complex and dynamic spiritual path and has been actively seeking unity through diversity in all of his work. He has had a passion for teaching through open communication for almost thirty years now and is looking forward to sharing this class with you.

Classes will be held over Zoom Video Conferencing, 7:00 – 9:00 PM Eastern time
Commitment: This course is designed as an integrated set of courses that build upon one another with a culminating ritual that incorporates all of the preceding work. It would best be attended as a complete course.
