October has begun and we are in Libra season. The sign of the balancing scales and the “Season of the Witch.” For those of you who already exhausted by all change surrounding us I’m afraid October will not be any different. But, some changes are bringing hidden blessings and it looks like we may find some hidden gems this upcoming period. So let´s grab a cup of coffee and see what the sky has to offer us this time!
Going Back
Right now we have the Sun and Venus (love, relationships) in the sign of Libra. That is one of Venus’s home signs, so she is doing well there. This brings an energy of harmony, peace, and justice. The Sun is making a good aspect to Mars (drive, will, energy) in the sign of Gemini (communication, connection) and to Saturn (karma, the past) in Aquarius, together with the asteroid Vesta (service). Together they create a big trine in the element of Air (thought, communication, people).
If you get a chance to go back (Saturn) to something, it can be a good to think carefully before you say “no”. You could, for example, get an offer from your old workplace, but in a new position, or be asked to teach something again at college, or become an instructor in something you left some time ago. It could also be an opening to make a trip to a place you have already visited before. In this case, going back could help you to move forward with a sense of peace. We could also call it a gift from the past or some unfinished business in a good way, carrying the gift of insights and healing.

Healing in Focus
A lot of healing energy surrounds us right now. We have Chiron (healing, deep transformation) in the sign of Aries and there it is involved in many things. Chiron is in opposition, a challenging aspect to Venus and the Sun in Libra, mentioned above. There it is somewhat disturbing the peace and balance of Libra. It can make us suspect the good feeling we have will not last or that the people we love don’t love us in the same way.
Whenever we are dealing with Chiron, we need to realize whatever we experience or think has deeper roots than what is shown on the surface. In this example, the feeling of not being loved might go back to our childhood, or a pattern in our ancestral tree or even a past life. Chiron in a challenging aspect to Venus and the Sun can stop us from coming too close to other people, or make us choose people in our lives we know are not good for us, or do not have the ability to give us what we need or want. One example might be constantly falling in love with people who are already in a relationship or are married. On a deeper and more collective level, Chiron in challenging aspect to Venus is about healing the divine feminine and the challenging aspect to the Sun is about healing the divine masculine.
Chiron and Not Giving Up
Chiron is called “the wounded healer”. In myth he is the teacher of the Gods and their children. He becomes wounded by his own exquisite poison. Because it is the best-made poison in the world there is no antidote to be found. Chiron is never truly healed, but through his efforts to find peace and healing he becomes an even better healer, teacher, and guide. Most of us have gone through things in life that will never heal completely. It could be a loss of a parent, an accident, a difficult time in school. But by not giving up, not stopping trying to heal it, we become better healers, guides, parents, and teachers. We can become like Chiron. A key (his glyph looks like a key) to unlock the wisdom from what first might look like only a bad thing, but is actually a gift when we see it through the eyes of the soul’s journey.
Everyone meets Chiron sooner or later. Because of its elliptic movement, our first square when Chiron squares itself (challenging aspect) could vary as much as from 4 years old up to the age of around 24. Children who meet Chiron at an early age, become aware very early. They become somewhat initiated to their soul energy. People who meet Chiron late are often seen as a bit childish, happily unaware of how tough life can be. It takes Chiron around 50-52 years to make a full circle, return in our life, and that is the big 50 year-crisis.
Healing and Compassion in Your Timeline
When we have this transit with Chiron opposite the Sun and Venus, we have a chance to heal those times when we felt most vulnerable and exposed. You can do this by meditation or vision work.
- Clean yourself, your space, and center yourself.
Light a green, blue, or pink candle. If you want, you can engrave the glyph of Chiron on it. You can also put some oils like lavender (mercury, healing), lemon (the moon, purification), or rosemary (the Sun, purification, healing) on it.- Call on your Guides and Allies.
Invite Archangel Raphael, the Archangel of Healing, into your space.
Fill your aura with the healing energy of Raphael. Set the intention of healing yourself through your timeline. - Visit yourself through meditation at the age of 4–5. Send the healing energy to your younger self.
What would you like say to yourself? What would you like your younger self to know? - Visit yourself at the age of 12–13 and do the same thing.
- Visit the age of 24–25.
- Now let Archangel Raphael guide you to different ages and times where you needed healing. Don’t be surprised if you are also taken into the future or a past life.

You, Another Me and World Wars
Don´t be surprised if soon after this healing exercise you meet someone else in the same circumstances as when you needed healing. Sometimes we are drawn to each other to offer support and understanding.
Myself and others have encountered a lot of helping spirits from World War One and Two lately. Many of them are assisting and helping out with everything from lessening worries to making money, heat, and food last longer in this economic crisis and pandemic. Through this work some of them can find peace to move on to a higher plane, others are simply returning as helpers and guides. We are connected to each other through similar experiences and healing processes in many ways, incarnated or not.
Chiron transits and other difficult processes that are not worked with or worked through can make us bitter and resentful, less empathic, and numb towards life. When worked through though, they make us more humble and empathic towards other people’s pain and suffering. A word I associate with Chiron is maturity. In some shamanic traditions you are not seen as fully grown up and ready to take on full leadership until you have gone through the full cycle of Chiron at the age 50-52.
Venus is in opposition to Chiron from the 4th of October until the 15th of October

Hidden Agendas and Manipulations Revealed
In the sign of Cancer (home, family) we have Lilith Black Moon (what is hidden from us) at 19 degrees right next to Pallas Athena (strategy) at 14 degrees. They are making a square (challenging aspect) to Venus and the Sun in Libra and to Chiron mentioned above.
Lilith Black Moon together with Pallas Athena can be manipulative, and this gets stronger with the connection to both Venus and Chiron. On a personal level it is important to be honest and to tell the whole story. Even if it is sometimes scary to be fully honest, remember no one likes to be manipulated and now this is extra strong. People sometimes say “the ends justify the means” but they rarely ever do. This energy will increase as Lilith Black Moon and Pallas Athena move closer to opposition with Pluto at 26 degrees in Capricorn at the upcoming Solar Eclipse (see below).
On the bright side, hidden agendas are more easily revealed. The fixed star Sirius is located around 14 degrees in cancer, right next to Pallas Athena, and the asteroid Hekate (truth, magic, power, protector) at 10 degrees in Cancer. If you feel called to do so, this is a good energy to work with for justice and revealing the truth, to un-cloak what has been hidden and manipulated.
The Owl is a fantastic totem animal to work with to reveal the truth. The Owl is also connected to Pallas Athena, who is right in the middle of everything going on right now. On a collective plane we can expect cover-ups and hidden agendas being revealed in corporations, politics, and even nations.
Other things happening:
On the 8th of October Pluto goes direct and that can make things feel easier.
On the 23rd of October Saturn goes direct and that can make life move forward easier. Venus and the Sun go into the sign of Scorpio.
On the 25th of October we have a Solar Partial Eclipse in the sign of Scorpio (drama, transformation, truth). The Sun, the Moon, and Venus all make a challenging aspect to Pluto (transformation), so this will be an extra strong eclipse. The saying is that a solar eclipse is a change for the leaders of the world and a moon eclipse a change for the people.
On the 8th of November we have a total Lunar Eclipse. The period between a Solar eclipse and a Lunar eclipse is usually very strong for intuitive people. This Lunar Eclipse has a shaking quality to it. The moon is conjunct both Uranus and the Earth all at 16 degrees (the Tower in tarot) in the sign of Taurus, the first of the Earth signs and very physical. The Sun, Venus, and Mercury all square Saturn giving it a connection to karma. And the Pluto/ Lilith Black Moon/Pallas Athena opposition tightens up even more.
Summary:
Deep healing is taking place on many levels at the same time. We have strong light and healing energies from Sirius and the asteroid Hekate down to earth. We have the Sun and Moon eclipses coming and we have the movements of Chiron working with the Sun and Venus to heal wounds. We also have a possibility to go back to move forward more in beauty. Lots of things going on, but also a lot of power to direct for the highest good of all.
