Blodeuwedd is famously the maiden of flowers, created for her husband “who could have no earthly wife” as ordered by his mother, Arianrhod. Famously, Blodeuwedd is turned into an owl as punishment for working with her lover to kill her husband…or was she seeking the freedom to be who she was in the first place?
