The Temple of Witchcraft makes every effort to welcome a wide range of students of varying backgrounds and alleviate financial barriers, though as both a religious educational institution that does not collect weekly tithes and donations from its membership, our events and classes are offered on a case-by-case individual basis of exchange. Opportunities for scholarship, work study, volunteer exchange, and payment plans are available for in-person and online events, but vary depending on the event, teacher, and local host.
If you would like a scholarship, work study or payment plan and do not see information on such opportunities for a specific event, you are welcome to email the teacher or host for that event and inquire directly or email [email protected] with the specific event name, event date, and event teacher/celebrant of the event to be directed to the appropriate person. Often requests can be accommodated.
Mystery School Online
To apply for a partial or full scholarship, please wait to inquire until the registration for the online Mystery School is OPEN, and then write to [email protected] for scholarship application. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available for the five levels of the mystery school online each session.
Work study opportunities are sometimes available, particularly for those with transcription/typing/data entry experience. For more information, or to offer other potential work study skills, please email [email protected].
If you have been volunteering already for the Temple of Witchcraft and would like to see if such service could apply to a work study retroactively, please email [email protected].
Mystery School In-Person Classes
Scholarship and work study opportunities vary with individual teachers and host centers/stores. Please inquire with the specific in-person teacher regarding scholarship, work study, and payment plan opportunities.
Sabbats, Esbats, One Time, Short Series, Extended Classes, Advanced Education and Other Classes

Due to the burden of annual extensive fundraising, the The David J. Erwin Scholarship Fund has been discontinued. Our hope is that a variety of options at the discretion of individual teachers will extend the reach of financial aid even further.
