Temple Board of Directors Expands

At this October’s (and both spiritual and fiscal year-end) meeting, the Temple of Witchcraft board of directors voted on the recommendations of the Temple’s nominating committee for our two-year board election cycle.

We are pleased to announce that Christopher Penczak, Steve Kenson, Alix Wright, and Jocelyn VanBokkelen will remain in their roles as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the board, respectively.

Board advisor Mary Hurley will move to a non-voting member-at-large position to continue to advise and mentor the board from her new home in the San Francisco Bay Area. Taking up Mary’s role as board advisor and voting member will be founder and lead Virgo Minister Adam Sartwell.

Additionally, the board has decided to exercise its option to expand its voting membership to seven, adding new board members Vanessa SilverMoone Lyons (high priestess and lead Cancer Minister) and Jameson Ford (high priest and deputy Gemini Minister).

As part of the expansion to seven voting members, the board members will align with the seven classical planetary energies of the Sun (Christopher Penczak), Moon (Steve Kenson), Mercury (Alix Wright), Venus (Adam Sartwell), Mars (Jameson Ford), Jupiter (Silver Lyons), and Saturn (Jocelyn VanBokkelen). Profiles of the Temple’s board members can be found on our website.

We welcome our new board members and look forward to convening in the New Year after Samhain, and continuing to serve the Temple, its extraordinary community, and the Great Work.
