Ministerial Profile: Stevie Grant, Dean of Students

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAStevie Grant is Dean of Students of the Temple and an ordained deputy minister of the Sagittarius ministry. She oversees class registration, mentor and teaching assistant activities, and general student body morale, troubleshoots problems within the Mystery School and Seminary, and offers personal student support. She also supervises the Healing Case Study Group for Temple members under the Virgo ministry and is a contributor of poems and stories to the Temple Bell.

Stevie brings to the Temple her experience as a teacher of witchcraft, psychic/metaphysical healer, spiritual counselor, and Reiki master, as well as knowledge from her career in psychology. She received her PhD from Boston University and is a lifetime member of the American Psychological Association and Sigma Xi. Now a retired university professor and clinical psychologist, she was for many years an active member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Association of Past Life Therapy and Research. These early excursions into esoteric areas of psychology, mystical philosophies, and feminism eventually led her to her path in Witchcraft.

Living in southeastern Washington state, Steve is the local witchdoctor, ministering when she can to those seeking spiritual counseling or healing, Reiki, Tarot readings, handfastings, crossing over and funerary rites, witchcraft classes, or a leader for public rituals. She and her husband Mark meditate with the herbs in their flourishing garden and grow large exotic hard-shelled gourds that they transform into magickally inspired art (some of which appear in the Temple store). Stevie can be reached by email at [email protected].
